Respected citizens of Bharatvarsh,
This day, on the 31st of December, 2025 AD,  at the stroke of midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India awakes to a new era of prosperity.

The democratic election process has been modified into the proportionate adult suffrage : the number of votes you can cast per election depends on your age, qualifications, income. The more important you make yourself in the society, the more you opinion counts in the democratic process, and hence you have more weightage in deciding who your legislative representative would be.
Any aspirant of the union and state legislatures, have to first write the People's Representative Qualification (PRQ) written test (5-elimination stages), face a 1-hour group discussion and 2-hour personal interview, and thorough medical test and legal background check, before being eligible to stand for any election. All perks in all administrative posts have been squashed.
Borders with all neighbours have been sealed completely. All refugees from the neighbouring countries have been repatriated.
Jammu and Kashmir LOC (with Pakistan and China) has been converted into and International border.
In the last 15 years, all Naxalists, Moists, and Indian Mujaheddin have surrendered.  The "Red Corridor" ceases to exist, with Orissa and Chattisgargh's GDP growing at 12% per annum.
The Uniform Civil Code is applicable from January 1, 2026. All citizens are equal and the constitution would no distinguish among anyone based on private beliefs like religion and language.
The legal process has been fast-tracked by evening courts, 1000 more courts all over the country, and working from 9 am - 6 pm.
The National  holidays are : 26th January (Republic Day) and 15th August (Independence Day). All other leaves would be private, which you may take on half-pay basis.
10000 km for 8-lane highways have been built criss-crossing the length and breadth of the country.
Our huge country henceforth will have two standard time zone : (a) 88 degree East Meridian Kolkata time (6 hours ahead of the GMT) and (b) 73 degree East Meridian Mumbai time (5.5 hours ahead of the GMT). Kolkata time is observed by the states of Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh (Split from Telengana), Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, all North-Eastern states,  the Awadh and Purvanchal parts of Uttar Pradesh, and the Union territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The rest of the states (including Telengana) and union territories follow the Mumbai time.
Summer Daylight Saving Time (DST) is used all over India from April 15 to September 15, when the standard time advances by 30 min, i,e, the Kokata time becomes 6.5 hours ahead of the GMT, and the Mumbai time becomes 6 hours ahead of IST.
Hence forth, India joins the prestigious league of developed nations of the world.
Jai Hind!

A very good critical speculation of the future of India in 2025. As things move and grow now in India, I hope people of India will begin trusting PM Modi beginning 2015 and give him an opportunity to work with due diligence and make India highly developed country. which is his objective as I gather from his speeches and achions.
In India unfortunately, in every period of History we have in the persons of (A)Nitish and like, who thwarted the development of the country. Of course our country also produced great persons like Krishna, Pratap and Shivaji, Shastri, Vajpayi and now Narendra Modi to guide and carry forward the legacy of India, however hard the situatons be and opposition by the prople like Shakunj, Jaychand and Mir Jafar. I pray that the predictions so well envisioned Mr Mann will become true and Bharat will once again shine and prople will see true Ramarajya of India's legendary man
Rama, who became God, just by virtue of his actions and deep conviction that We are the great people, in spite of all faults that is but human. God bless India. Long live the Republic and PM Modi to steer the ship of Bharat, i.e. India in right direction. SURENDRA
